Certificate by: The University of Delhi (DU) shall award ‘Certificate of Completion’ jointly signed by the
official representative of the COL-DU and the training partner, i.e., RKFMA.
Course objectives: The Certificate Course in Interior Design & CAD is offered by the Delhi University in association with the RKFMA. The syllabus of this interior designing certificate course cover industry-oriented curriculum that shall be delivered by interior design trainers and industry experts, taught via offline and live online sessions and recorded videos. Learners who successfully complete the Delhi University's Interior Design Course shall be prepared for all entry level careers in the field interior design and architecture design. The program is specifically designed for individuals who wanted to shape their career in Interior Designing through a short term course in interior designing to enhance their knowledge and skills.

- Introduction to Design
- Concepts of Geometry
- Drafting Skills
- Colour Wheel
- Design Drawing and Graphics
- Interior Design Materials and Applications
- Space Planning
- Planning and Drawing of a Single Room with kitchen and toilets with Sectional Elevation in a drawing plate of A1 size sheet with furniture and sanitary layout
- Technology Overview and Preparing Graphics: Computer Aided Drawing & its introduction - software applications for interior design
Stationary required:
Sketch Book. Pencils. Paint colors, scale, T-scale, set square and softwares applications already installed in the laptop
Minimum required eligibility:
10+2 pass candidates (from any stream or subjects) or equivalent can apply to join this Interior Design course and Beauty Pageant Grooming Certificate Course in DU. Candidates appearing or appeared in qualifying exams (i.e.10+2) may also apply.
Students
pursuing degree or diploma courses from any colleges, institutes, departments or other universities or institutes may also apply. Recent graduates from various degree courses may also be considered for taking admission. Applicants
may be subject to screening for these Certificate Courses in DU after 12th offered through offline and online classes.
Class Mode: Classes shall be offered both through offline and online modes. 2-3 classes per week of around 1 hour to 1.5 hours per class shall be conducted on weekely basis. Weekend class schedules or after-regular college hours class schedules may also be offered for the convenience of students already pursuing degree courses subject to availability of batches.
Course Duration: Overall 42 hours course duration including mix of tutorials, practical, field visits, assignments, online videos, live classes, discussions, seminars, etc
usually covered within a period of 6 months (or lesser duration/ short term certificate course) varying on the number of classes
conducted per week.
Assistance for Placement and Internships: Students shall be kept informed on available work-opportunities whether in form of jobs, internships, freelancing projects or assignments etc from time to time.
